After deploy the VDI Infrastructure and follow the best practices, is strongly recommended to create a client policy and set this option to True. After it, ensure the user has been assigned to this policy.
To identify if the user have any client policy enable, run get-csuser -identity firstname.lastname@example.org | fl ClientPolicy
Note that in this picture, the user thiago has not any client Policy enabled.
We recommended you create a new client policy and enable EnableMediaRedirection. To create the policy and enable media redirection, run:
new-csclientpolicy -identity VDIUsers -EnableMediaRedirection $true
To see if the option enable media redirection was enabled, run:
get-csclientpolicy -identity VDIUsers | fl EnableMediaRedirection
Now, we need assign this policy to the user.
Grant-CsClientPolicy -Identity email@example.com -PolicyName VDIUsers
