There are some steps to do this activity.
First, to import the PST, you will need to na user with admin global permissions.
After it, you will neet to give permissions to this user as Mailbox Import Export. Because we work with own tool for migration, we need the ApplicationImpersonation role too.
Also, you need to elect na account to be the principal account… You will use this account to migrate the PST. This account you need to put in the same window, in member option.
Save the changes and wait for some minutes. Do the logout and login again.
Now, you need to create a shared folder to import the PST’s….
After you created the folder and move the PST, let’s go to the next step.
Go to Security & Compliance or protection.office.com;
Go to Data governance and Import.
When you go to the Import service, select PST Files;
A new window will be opened.
Click Show network upload SAS URL;
Download AzCopy tool;
Also, you need to share the folder to send PST….
Ok, now open cmd with admin privileges and go to %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft SDKs\Azure\AzCopy.
You need adjust the command bellow…
AzCopy.exe /Source:<Location of PST files> /Dest:<SAS URL> /V:<Log file location>
AzCopy.exe /Source:\\London\PSTtoMS /Dest:”blob_URL_past_here” /V:C:\temp\AzCopy01.log
If you have a folder inside PsttoMS like user01 and the pst are there, increase the /source. E.g.: /Sourve:\\London\PSTtoMS\user01
Also, you can track the status with Microsoft Azure Storage Explorer… http://storageexplorer.com/
